Yesterday, October the 3rd was the Mid Autumn Festival and also my Birthday !
On the Mid Autumn Festival, it is tradition that we eat Moon Cakes !
I personally LOVE them because,a) Its sweet
b) It tastes gooooddd
c) I don't knowanyways the moon cake is a special treat that has a preserved egg yolk and some type of chinese sweet stuffing mixture ? I can tell you that its sweet and if I have made it sound gross, I apoligize.
There are diferent types of mooncakes, one type would be the Frozen Mooncake where the texture is different and they use different ingredients. In the frozen mooncakes they don't have a preserved egg yolk instead the middle is a flavoured sweet thingy it could come in a variety of flavours, like strawberry, chocolate, mango,coffee ect. the rest is also different. Its more powdery, it still tastes sweet but it has more of a pastery background its also cold. I personally HATE those frozen mooncakes. When it comes to Mooncakes I'm original all the way. The Mid - Autumn Festival has many different traditional ways to celebrate it. This festival itself has been celebrated 3000 years ago.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar, which is usually around late September or early October in the Gregorian calendar.
I find all these traditions and festivals amazing. Every year it may be the same festivals but every year I get to celebrate it in a different way. This years Moon Festival was even more amazing because it felt special to have my birthday on the same day. This year I celebrated the Moon Festival with friends and family. I also got a mini frozen mooncake with a candle on top ...
To me, this years Mid - Autumn festival was extra special !

Animals mean alot to me, a big part of it is captivity. Sure its fun to see lots of animals at the zoo. But have you ever thought about your own family ? How hard it would be to be taken away from them ? Those animals feel the same, they've been taken away from their home, their family and now in captivity. Sure the zoo keepers take care of them, yes it would be nice to see a variety of animals in your life. But they already die in the wild. But those deaths are natural, these deaths every year in zoos, those are even worse. They really have a better chance of living in the wild then in captivity. In captivity, animals don't have enough space to roam, they don't have the right temperture too. I think its cool to see these animals that you might not see in your life, but I'm also sorry for them. At least one elephant dies in a zoo. More and more the zoos improved and the more endangered those animals become. I want to do somthing about this. Not only are they dieing, they're also running out of time. Soon our ideas increase, and they way we're treating our planet animals are going exstinct. Have you ever seen the polar bears in the zoo ? do they look snowy white ? do you see them away from the shade ? if no, than theres your proof. Polar bears need to stay cold. their bodies can't just change with the climate. Same woth elephants, they don't have enough space to roam, the main couse of those dead elephants is foot infection. Those zoo keepers can't see that, soon it gets worse till its too late to do anything about it. Pandas are running out of bamboo. They've been endangered for years.
These animal problems are a big deal to me.
My goal is to come up with a fund raiser to earn money to help these amazing but endangered animals.
To me this post has basically showed you what I think about these problems and some of my ideas to help.
I hope you understand that this has been going on for many years but has only imporved by a little bit.
